New Members Inducted into the National Honor Society

New Members Inducted into the National Honor Society

            The Niobrara Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted six new members.  They were Senior Erika Kitto and Sophomores Ashtyn Holz, Kiera Moody, Kalyn Nielsen, Emily Parks, and Winona Ware.  The ceremony took place on November 21st in the east gymnasium with all students and staff in grades 5-12 attending.  Mrs. Jennifer Pritchett was the speaker.  She gave a very inspiring speech on scholarship, service, character, and leadership.  She focused on how good character can improve the other 3 qualities.  Present members; Abbigail Holz, Abby Swanson, Brooke Swanson, Adam DeKay, Camden Eisenhauer, and Tala Henry; reviewed what it means to be a member of the National Honor Society.  The four parts of National Honor Society are scholarship, leadership, service, and character.  To be a member of the National Honor Society a student must be a high achiever in all four parts.  The Niobrara Chapter’s advisor is Tami Heiser.
